Photo Digitization
We scan photos into high-quality digital JPG files for crisp, detailed preservation. We accept photo sizes up to 8.5”x36”.​
​
​Each photo capture will be digitally enhanced. The digital files you receive include the original capture, a digitally enhanced copy and any information captured on the back of the photo.
​
Photos can be scanned at 300, 600 or 1200 dpi. Higher resolution will not improve the original quality of the picture taken with camera technology of the past. We recommend 300dpi for most of your digitizing needs.

600dpi – Great for Archival, enlarging and cropping
1200dpi – Extra resolution for enlarging and cropping

Note:
* Any photos received with residual glue from stick down albums can not be run through our scanners, instead we will take a high-quality photo, crop the image and provide a digitally enhanced version for your collection. The price for digitizing these photo’s will be $0.60/photo.
